Included with every full home inspection
Free Thermal Imaging
A thermal camera shows surface-temperature differences that are not obvious to the eye. Those patterns can point us toward areas that deserve a closer look, such as possible moisture, insulation gaps or unusual heating at an electrical component.
Inspection scope
What we look at
- Selected walls and ceilings where conditions support useful scanning
- Accessible electrical components for unusual heat patterns
- Heating and cooling output comparisons
- Areas where moisture or missing insulation is suspected
What you receive
Relevant thermal images are added to the report when they help explain a finding. Thermal imaging is a screening tool, not an X-ray, and temperature patterns are verified with other observations or tools when possible.
Common questions
Before you schedule
Does thermal imaging see through walls?
No. It measures surface temperatures. It can reveal a pattern worth investigating, but it cannot show exactly what is inside a wall.
What does it cost?
It is included with every full home inspection at no added cost.
